Country Club Honors Member
As a lasting tribute to honor member Dale Koontz, the Spring Lake Country Club of Quincy, Illinois, commissioned a memorial post clock.
The clock, like all Lumichron clocks, was created by our talented craftsmen. It consists of a cast aluminum housing, with an architectural grade powder coat finish, with hand-painted gold accents. The custom dials are uv-protected and the faces feature tempered glass crystals. A special feature is the completely automatic clock controller. This device keeps both faces in sync, and the time is synchronized to GPS/Atomic time. The faces are also illuminated, automatically turning on at dusk and off at dawn.
All models of Lumichron post clocks feature all-Aluminum construction (either cast or fabricated aluminum) including head, post, & decorative panels; Architectural-grade powder-coat finish; Stainless fasteners throughout, Tempered glass crystals (lens), unbreakable sign-grade UV protected Polycarbonate dials (faces), evenly dispersed interioir LED illumination; timekeeping equipment made in Switzerland by our partner Mobatime, GPS accuracy.
A memorial post clock can inspire, give hope, and provide comfort to a community
A clock can become a landmark, either on a golf course, or in the community. It is something that is useful, as well as decorative. In addition to customizing the clock face, and header panel, a cast bronze plaque is an option for our post clocks. As a tribute to an individual, cause, or community, a clock stands the test of time.
And Lumichron clocks are designed to last a lifetime. The timekeeping equipment is practically maintenance-free (Lumichron never adds maintenance contracts to the cost of a clock – they’re just not necessary). Avid Golfer Honored
Dale was an avid golfer, winner of the Spring Lake Country Club senior division, and proud owner of multiple holes-in-one. Many friends will miss rounds of golf with him. This tribute clock is a nice reminder of Dave’s presence on the links.
Dale was also well known and respected in the Quincy area as an honest business man with a reputation for quality projects and treating people fairly. Dale served his community in many different capacities and his family, friends, and fellow golfers wanted to commemorate his contributions to the community.
