Tower Clocks at The Orion, St. Louis
The Orion on Euclid:
A premier Central West End (St. Louis) Apartment Community
This project was ready for move-in late December, 2015, and is owned by Mills Properties and was built by S.M. Wilson. LUMICHRON was fortunate to be chosen to make the tower clocks! The photo to the right shows the two, 7-foot diameter, Roman-style illuminated clocks, which will always display the correct synchronized time thanks to state-of-the-art Swiss clock controller and GPS antenna connected to a network timeserver. The photo below of the clocks (during testing phase in our shop, prior to crating and shipment) shows the embossed polycarbonate dials that are decorated from the inside for superior looks and longevity, and weatherproof hands balanced and rated for exposure.
The seven story brick, lime stone and stucco mixed-used structure offers 177 luxuriously designed, one, two and three bedroom apartments. The building will feature an architecturally integrated parking structure featuring 438 covered spaces and includes a car wash, vacuum and tire inflation stations and several electric car chargers.
In addition to the 38,000 SF Whole Foods store on the ground level, other amenities in the building include a fitness center with massage and tanning rooms, a courtyard featuring a heated swimming pool and a fully equipped business center. The building’s rooftop terrace has a gourmet kitchen and grill, lounge seating, fire pit, decorative lighting, and stone fireplace with built-in outdoor widescreen television.
It sounds fabulous, I’d like to move right in!
