A retro station clock to help commuters and residents stay on time
A Lumichron 2-face bracket clock, remininescent of original train station clocks, graces the corner of Quincy Station luxury apartments in Westmont, IL, a suburb of Chicago.
We recently built and installed a ‘railroad’ themed corner mounted double-faced clock on a new apartment complex next to a train station in suburban Chicago. We are so happy our customer is thinking about Time and I’m sure the local commuters appreciate this public time display.
It’s not only a full moon that glows so round & bright
The clock lights up at night and the time on each face of the clock is always in sync. The clocks are automatically self-adjusting, synchronized with NIST / Atomic time via a GPS antenna. The all-aluminum case is weather-proof and built to withstand Chicago winter cold and wind as well as summer heat and humidity — and retain it’s beautiful shiny black powdercoat finish and gold leaf lettering for a long, long time. The dials are protected by tempered glass and the faces are UV protected.
It’s a nice complement to the architecture. And a genuine service to the Westmont, IL community. A landmark clock they can enjoy for many years to come.
