LUMICHRON Clock Company makes tower clocks in the USA – for customers here and around the world. We had the good fortune to be included in this stunning project in Sacramento, California.
LUMICHRON’s illuminated Roman-style big outdoor clocks complement the historic Spanish Colonial / Mission Revival architecture, which features stucco walls, clay tile roofs, semi-circular arcades, and decorative ironwork. The set of 2, 96-inch diameter building clocks have numbers mounted directly on the stucco finish, a big outdoor clock type known as silhouette or skeletal. The Roman numerals as well as the clock hands are halo-lit with LED’s, carefully crafted to be weather-proof and durable. Both building clock faces operate with their own motor, but both are controlled by a completely automatic master clock, to be reliably in sync and on-time. This landmark building clock can be used and enjoyed by residents and neighbors for generations. LUMICHRON Clock Company big outdoor building clocks are glowing in midtown Sacramento on top of the stunning Legado de Ravel, a mixed-use development collaboration between CADA Housing, West Fork Construction, Stantec Architecture, Separovich/Domich, and Ravel Rasmussen Properties. The 72-unit apartment building, located at the SW and NW corner of 16th and O Streets, will include fine dining, shopping and entertainment venues for the convenience of its residents.
Thank you Ravel Rassmussen & CADA Housing for choosing LUMICHRON to make TIME for you!
