Time to share a few new clock projects from here at Lumichron. Our crew has been especially busy this year, with some high-profile projects and some clock for residential application – and a lot in between. No matter the scope of the project, every clock receives personal attention from our designers, engineers, and craftsman. Scroll through to see some beautiful clocks!
Post Clock for a school, community welcome sign clock, and a backyard pool clock
First is a beautiful backyard pool clock. Due to unforeseen delays with raw materials (hello covid supply chain issues), the family waited a long time to receive their custom post clock. They were graciously patient and finally the clock was installed. Too late for pool time this year, but the illuminated face will light up many a dark winter night!
This custom post clock for the backyard pool and entertaining area of an Indianapolis residence, is a petite version of our usual street clocks. This double-faced model is perfectly sized for home use. The clock still features commercial-grade equipment: completely GPS-controlled, automatic timekeeping, face illumination that turns on at dusk and off at dawn. Perfectly for adding a little ambience to evening pool parties & cook-outs. (3 photos)
The friendly face of a clock
Next is another post clock, this one our E Howard model. Built for the Morristown-Beard School in Morristown New Jersey, the friendly face of this clock welcomes students & staff to school. And maybe provides a reminder to be on time? This clock is even decked out for the holidays! (3 photos). Established in 1891, as you may note on the custom dial, the school will also be adding a custom cast bronze commemorative plaque. These are nice when a clock is to be dedicated or personalized, and bolt right onto the base of the clock.
Gateway Welcome Clock
Then we have a collaborative effort with Sunset Signs of Hamilton, Ontario in Canada. A set of 2 clocks was incorporated into a welcome sign at the corner of Burlington St. and Sherman Ave at the Port of Hamilton. The Hamilton Ontario Port Authority clocks are newly-refurbished with Lumichron GPS-controlled, automatic timekeeping equipment. Serving as a landmark and welcome gateway to the Port of Hamilton, and letting folks know what time it is.
